Halliwell Engineering Associates selects prov.net for data center & colocation services provider

Providence, RI Location, SSAE SOC2 and Overall Value Were Key Factors

Providence, R.I., May 15, 2019 Provdotnet, LLC New England’s Leader in Specialized Data Centers, Internet and IP Connectivity, and Hosted Systems, today announced that Halliwell Engineering Associates of East Providence, RI has selected prov.net to provide data center co-location and internet services.

Zopon Harris,  IT Manager at Halliwell, said, “We selected prov.net as a Tier 3 data center co-location service provider for several operational reasons: The primary reason was our current provider decided to close their facility in Greater  Boston where we had our equipment.   We considered several alternative colocation providers and found that prov.net exceeded our security and availability requirements with SSAE SOC2-audited facilities in Rhode Island,  and their existing customers told us about their  solid track record and an outstanding reputation.” Ron Sacks, Provdotnet’ s Managing Partner & CEO, said, “It was clear Halliwell needed a fast and flexible solution that works within the framework of our SOC2 trust principles.   We were very pleased to be awarded their business and look forward to providing them with a solution that will accommodate their growth and fits their unique needs.”
